sprouts


at 33, i finally learned from my friend Trader Joe what brussels sprouts look like before they are put in a bag or reach a bin at the grocery store...shouldn't we learn more about our food, where it comes from and all of the work it takes (by nature / man / machines) to get to us?

btw - these stalks (over 2 ft long) were $2.99 at TJ's last week and they fed an army...multiple times
